End of Summer Update

Well, my summer semester is winding down here quickly. Two days this coming week & then I'm done for about a week and then back to the grind for the fall semester. It feels amazing to be doing so much better. I love learning and don't mind what I'm learning so far. It has sucked a little bit, but I can't wait for fall. I will have my girls back rooming with me. (Yay!!!!!) Things are still a little crazy about that guy I've liked for so long. I don't know what to do sometimes.....*sighs* Ah well. I came on for a reason and now, I'm not quite sure what to say. I still miss reading and writing, but both of them are going to have to wait. Well, I should get going. Have lots to study yet. Will try to write soon!

A Quick Update

Well, it's been awhile again. College is really busy for me. I love my friends and learning, just hate being so far away from home. It gets easier as the years pass by. Anyway, I have been writing. In fact, I started writing a poem today. My feelings have been getting in the way of me studying and so I had to write them down. The poem isn't done but I have ideas and it's not too hard to get more. Things have been rough this last week with a break-up and another guy that I have liked for so long talking to me. Old feelings die hard and I thought I got over him completely, but apparently not entirely. It stings a little bit, but I'm trying very hard to get immersed in my studies. I can't wait til mid-July when things start to calm down. I just miss reading and writing. I can't escape from reality. I probably should go. I feel like I'm ranting, so excuse me for this. I just wanted to post an update. I will post the new poem as soon as it's finalized. Have a great day!
